Fisrt artists line up for NTV's THE MUSIC DAY revealed

NTV's "THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku Chikara" will return this July. As previously announced, Arashi's Sakurai Sho will also return as the overall host of the show, continuing from last year. It will be broadcasted live from Makuhari Messe. As this program aims to connect people through time and space with the power of music, around 60 artists are going to perform during the 11 hours show. The first artists line up for this huge music program has been revealed.

Arashi has been in the top 3 of this ranking for 5 years. The last time they topped this ranking was in 2012, the year after that they placed second. Personally, Sakurai Sho also kept his position  from last year, while Matsumoto Jun was able to climb up from the 25th to the 16th. The other members of Arashi also made it into the top 100.

Details for TOKIO's 20th anniversary album released

As previously reported, TOKIO will be celebrating their 20th anniversary by releasing a best-of-album, titled "HEART". For this a poll was held to determine the tracklist. Now that the poll is over, details for this album, which will be released on July 16, has been revealed.

This album will come as 2 discs, with each 16 songs in it. Disc 1 will include the top 15 single songs, while disc 2 will contain the top 15 album and coupling songs. Additionally, each disc will contain abonus track, which expresses the member's  feelings of gratitude for their fans. Disc 1 will come with "Heart" included in it. This song was written and composed by Nagase Tomoya. The nonus track for disc 2 is titled "Kokoro" and was written and composed by Joshima Shigeru.

Furthermore, the album will be released in 2 limited editions and a regular edition. The regular edition will only include the 2 discs, while the limited editions will come with an additional DVD. The DVD for Limited Edition 1 will contain recording footages (Approx. 23 minutes), while the Limited Edition 2's DVD will contain 16 music videos (Approx. 77minutes).

TOKIO LOVE HOLIDAY

Before releasing their 20th anniversary album, TOKIO will be releasing a single titled "LOVE, HOLIDAY" on May 21.

TOKIO & Kis-My-Ft2 updates fans about their works

TOKIO sent 2 video messages through Johnny's-net. In the first one they talked about how it has been 20 years since their debut in 1994. The second one is about Kokubun Taichi's role as main MC for the upcoming TBS program "IPPUKU!", which will be aired on weekdays at 8:00 starting March 31. They also talked about their anniversary album "HEART", thir live tour "JRA 60th presents TOKIO 20th Anniversary Live Tour ~HEART~" and thair appearance on "JOIN ALIVE 2014" and "SUMMER SONIC 2014".

Kis-My-Ft2 also sent a special messages, talking about their single collection album "HIT! HIT! HIT!" and Fujigaya Taisuke's movie "Kamen Teacher".

TOKIO to celebrate 20th anniversary with HEART

2014 will mark TOKIO's 20th year since their debut. Therefore they will be releasing an album titled HEART and on August they will be doing a national tour to celebrate it with fans. Beside that, they fill also participate in an open-air summer rock festival. This will be the first for a talent from Johnny & Associates to do so.
