Johnny's Jr. to do battle performance during "Gamushara Sexy Natsumatsuri!!"

On the episode of Gamushara! that aired June 22, it was announced that 4 groups of Johnny's Jr. will challange themselve and battle each other in special performances this summer.

Yamashita Tomohisa's "Kinkyori Renai" to get a prequel drama starring Abe Aran

April 23, it was announced, that Mikimoto Rin's popular shoujo manga, "Kinkyori Renai", will be adapted into a live-action movie starring Yamashita Tomohisa. The manga was serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend from 2008 to 2011 and was compiled in 10 tankobon volumes.

"Ninjani Sanjo! Mirai e no Tatakai" stage greeting event

June 8, Johnnys' WEST's Kiriyama Akito, Nakama Junta, Shigeoka Daiki, Kotaki Nozomu and Kamiyama Tomohiro attended the stage greeting for their movie, "Ninjani Sanjo! Mirai e no Tatakai", in Tokyo.

The younger ones from Sexy Zone to held summer event

Previously 2 new groups were announced, Sexy Boyz and Sexy Show. Sexy Boyz consists of Sexy Zone's Marius Yo together with Johnny's Jr.'s Iwahashi Genki and Jinguji Yuta. Meanwhile Sexy Zone's Matsushima So and Johnny's Jr.'s Matsuda Genta and Matsukura Kaito are grouped together as Sexy Show. Now it has been announced that these groups will have their first concert this summer.

Johnnys' Ginza 2014

Johnny's Jrs. are going to hold lives in Tokyo. Continuing from last year, different groups of Johnny's Jr. are going to perform alternately in Theater Crea from April 28 until June 4. Nakayama Yuma, who also participated last year, will also be taking part this year and is going to perform from May 3 until May 6. SHARK final episode & sequel

The midnight drama "SHARK", starring Kansai Jrs. & Johnny's Jrs. will air its final episode on March 29. This drama is aired for 30 minutes by Nippon Television at 24:50. Currently Hirano Sho, Hamada Takahiro, Fujii Ryusei, Kamiyama Tomohiro from Kansai Jr. and  Matsumura Hokuto and Iwamoto Hikaru from Johnny's Jr. are starring in the drama.

It has been announced, that starting Apri 19 the second season of this drama will be aired during the same time slot. "SHARK ~2nd Season~" will star Shigeoka Daiki, who will play a bassist in a rock band called Cloud 5. Also in the drama will be fellow Johnnys' WEST members Hamada Takahiro and Kamiyama Tomohiro, who also acted in the first season. Other casts include Johnny's Jr.'s Yasui Kentaro, Abe Aran, Hagiya Keigo, Iwahashi Genki, Jinguji Yuta, Matsukura Kaito, and Negishi Aomi.

Gamushara J's Party!! Vol.3 announced

Johnny's Jr's concets Gamushara will be extanded by "Gamushara J's Party!! Vol.3". March 26-28 Johnny's Jr. had concerts in EX THEATER ROPPONGI, Tokyo, with the title "Gamushara J's Party!! Vol.2". Though the concerts hasn't ended, it was announced that the Jrs. will be back for a 3rd party at the same venue in April 16 & 17.

Related to these concerts, the Johnny's Jrs. will also have a new tv show, that will be broadcasted by TV Asahi staring in April. The show will be aired late night at 25:45-26:15. "Gamushara! (ガムシャラ!)" The program is said to also be showing the Jrs. activity behind the scenes and during thei training. Members from Sexy Zone will also make appearances in the show.
