NTV's "THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku Chikara" will return this July. As previously announced, Arashi's Sakurai Sho will also return as the overall host of the show, continuing from last year. It will be broadcasted live from Makuhari Messe. As this program aims to connect people through time and space with the power of music, around 60 artists are going to perform during the 11 hours show. The first artists line up for this huge music program has been revealed.
From Johnny's, Arashi, KAT-TUN, Kanjani8, TOKIO, NEWS,V6 and Hey! Say! JUMP are confirmed to participate. In addition, as this year is Arashi's 15th anniversary, Kanjani8's 10th anniversary and TOKIO's 20th anniversary, each group will have a special live performance to highlight the program. Another highlight is the guitar duo performance of THE ALFEE's Sakazaki Konosuke and TOKIO's Joshima Shigeru, which was well recieved last summer.
"THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku Chikara" will be aired on NTV on July 12 at 12:00 to 22:45 (JST).
