Yasuda Shota as Romeo in "Juliet Dori"

Kanjani8's Yasuda Shota is going to star in a stage play, "Juliet Dori", Bunkamura's modern version of "Romeo and Juliet". This will be Yasuda's first butai in 3 years. The last butai he did was "Torasuto Ikane" in 2011.

Oosama Aya and Kazama Morio will join Yasuda in the cast. "Juliet Dori"is written by Iwamatsu Ryo and tells the story of Romeo falling in love with Juliet, a prostitute, who also happens to be his father's lover. Romeo the eventually loses control over his own feelings.

Yasuda, who will be celebrating his 10th year anniversary with Kanjani8 this year, hopes that he will be able to cultivate what he had learned all these years to give his best performance.

"Juliet Dori" will run from October 8-31 at Bunkamura's Theater Cocoon in Tokyo.
