After the announcement of Kis-My-Ft2's upcoming album "Kis-My-Journey", which will be released July 2, the 7-member group confirmed their dome tour with the same title.
Kis-My-Ft2 will embark on their first dome tour 3 days after the release of their third album.The concerts will be held in 4 major domes, instead the ususal 5, because apparently there are scheduling problems with Sapporo Dome. They will start their tour on July 5 at Nagoya Dome. Their next stops are Osaka and Fukuoka, before ending the tour at Tokyo Dome on November 9. During the said tour, Kis-My-Ft2 will experience their first time perform at Nagoya and Fukuoka Dome. A total of 10 shows will be held and 460,000 audiences are expected to be mobilized.
As it will be 2 years and 11 months since their debut to hold this dome tour, Kis-My-Ft2 will be holding the record of being the fastest male artists to hold a dome tour. The current record holder are GLAY, who started their dome tour 4 years and 9 months since debut.
Member Kitayama Hiromitsu happily said, "To hold the dome tour was my dream since my Johnny's Jr. days, and I did not expect for it to come true this fast." Fellow member Tamamori Yuta also commented, "I feel pressure, but I want our fans to enjoy, and we also want to fully enjoy the tour."
