TOKIO's Kokubun Taichi retires from hosting the NHK TV programm The Shounen Club Premium. Starting April KAT-TUN will be in charge of hosting the show.
March 12, TVstation announced that KAT-TUN will be taking over position as host of The Shounen Club Premium from Kokubun Taichi, who has hosted the show since its beginning in 2006. The Shounen Club Premium is a music variety/talk show with talents that is aired every 3rd Wednwesday of the month on NHK-BS Premium at 20:00-20:59. Each episode has at least 1 talent from Johnny & Associates as guest for the talk session. The viewers of hte show can also enjoy various performances by Johnny & Associates talents.
Kokubun's final show aired on March 19 with Heike-ha as guests. After 8 years hosting the show, he shed tears as he made his farewell and gave his gratitude to all the staff he worked with. Via VTR the members of KAT-TUN announced themselves, that they're going to be in charge of hosting replacing Kokubun. The first episode with KAT-TUN as hosts will be broadcast on April 16 at 20:00.
