It was previously announced, that Ninomiya Kazunari will be back with his first renzoku drama after "Freeter, Ie o Kau" in 2010. The drama with the full title "Yowakutemo Katemasu ~Aoshi-sensei to Heppoko Koukou Kyuuji no Yabou~" will prime on April 12. It will be broadcast by NTV at 21:00.
In this drama, Ninomiya will play as Tamo Aoshi, who was absorbed in his resarch at Tokyo University. He happens to become a subtitute teacher at his alma mater, a private high school which admits 200 students to Tokyo University every year. He is also appointed to manage a weak baseball club with only 5 members. Since the club was established they have never won a game and the highest number of times, they have thrown the ball back and forth without dropping is nine. They prefer the outfield because the infield is scary. They love baseball, but they practice on the grounds only 3 hours a week, because at other times, they study, study and study. With the motto, 'Even if week, triumph is possiple.', Aoshi decides that he will give them victory and together they set their sights on Koshien, the annual nationwide high school baseball championship.
Fukushi Sota and Nakajima Yuto are casted as members of this baseball club. Arimura Kasumi will play the role of Tarumi Yuzu, a student who will be the team's manager. Meanwhile, Yakushimaru Hiroko will act as the role of her mother, Tarumi Kaede, who also is the owner of a cafe frequented by the baseball team. Other casts include Yamazaki Kento, Hongo Kanata, Mamiya Shotaro, Sakurada Dori, Sukzuki Katsushiro, Yanagi Shuntaro and Yakushimaru Hiroko.
