Johnnys' WEST NONSTOP!

Fuji TV's "NONSTOP!" visited Johnnys' WEST during their music video shooting for their upcoming debut single and aired it today, March 25.

Johnnys' WEST members tell the story how they got to debut. They told Johnny Kitagawa, that they want to debut. Then it was announced that the Kansai Jrs. would debut as Johnnys' WEST 4, but as 4 is believed to be not a good number, the name of the group was changed to Johnnys' WEST. And that was their oppurtunity to ask more members to be added. Johnny Kitagawa told them to decide by themselves and thus they became a 7 member group.

For the music video a set with a red carpet and about 100 extras was organized. The crew of "NONSTOP!" even participated as extra reporters standing beside the red carpet as Johnnys' WEST members perform in the middle. Kamiyama Tomohiro said that they will aim for number one at the Oricon Charts. "NONSTOP!" revealed that actually Johnny Kitagawa wanted to name them Kanjani, which was immediately rejected by the members.

Johnnys' WEST debut single "Eejanaika" will be released April 23.
