At the beginning of this year it was announed that a new Johnny's group will make their debut this year. At first it was a 4 member group, but later it was announced that they will make their debut as a 7 member group with all of them coming from Kansai Johnny's Jr. The group name was also changed from Johnnys' WEST 4 to Johnnys' WEST.
And finally Johnny's-net updated their page with details about the debut single. The single will be released on April 23rd with the title song for the song Eejanaika (ええじゃないか). This song has already been performed by the Kansai Johnny's Jrs. in concerts and TV shows such as The Shounen Club. The coupling song is titled Banzai Yume Monsai!.
This single will come in 3 Limited editions and 1 regular edition. The Limited A edition will come with an 8-page booklet and a DVD that is listed to have about 30 minutes worth of video from their concert, Naniwa Samurai Haro TOKYO!!, last month. The Limited B edition will also come with an 8-page booklet and a DVD with about 20 minutes duration of talk with the members and offshot footages. The Limited C edition will come with a 12-page booklet and a DVD containing the music video for Eejanaika and the making of the MV. Both together will be about 20 minutes. The regular edition will come with a 12-page booklet and will contain 2 bonus tracks, Sonosakihe... and Naniwa Ichitosho.
