Oricon Weekly-Charts 2014, 9/1~9/7

Hey! Say! JUMP released a new single,  "Weekender / Asu e no YELL", on September 3. The song "Weekender" is used as theme song for Yamada Ryosuke and Arioka Daiki's drama "Kindaichi Shoen no Jikenbo N(neo)", while "Asu e no YELL" is used for the drama "Suikyuu Yankees" starring Nakajima Kento and Takaki Yuya. This double-A-side single topped the weekly single chart with 184,509 sold.

SMAP's single "Top Of The World / Amazing Discovery", which went on sale in July, made it back into the weekly ranking. With 3,928 copies of thei single sold during this week, it became the 24th most sold single this week. Nakayama Yuma's "High Five" also made a comeback into the chart by rangking 36th. Kanjani8's "Omoidama" also climbed the rangking ladder back to the top 50.

A new album is released by SMAP on September 3. The single, titled "Mr. S" was sold 184,167 times during its first week, topping the weekly album ranking. Though the sales for TOKIO's "HEART" went up, by over then 200 copies, it climbed down the rangking by 2 positions to the 44th.

Yamashita Tomohisa's concert DVD "TOMOHISA YAMASHITA TOUR 2013 - A NUDE" topped this week's music DVD ranking. Arashi's "ARASHI Live Tour 2013"LOVE""" DVD finally got pushed away from the 2nd position by other DVDs to the 4th position. Kanjani8 's "KANJANI∞ LIVE TOUR JUKE BOX" is also keeping a position in the top 10.
