July 9, Johnny's-net announced, that V6 will be releasing a new single, titled "Namida no Ato ga Kieru Koro". This will be the groups 43rd single since debuting in 1995.
"Namida no Ato ga Kieru Koro" is used as theme song for the 9th season of TV Asahi's Wednesday-drama "Keishicho Sosa Ikka 9 Gakari". It is a crime drama with casts including V6's Inohara Yoshihiko. V6 has sung the theme song for this drama since its first season in 2006.
The coupling song for this single has also been revealed to be titled, "BEAT OF LIFE". This song is used as the ending song for V6's TV show on TBS, "Amazipang!".
"Namida no Ato ga Kieru Koro" will be released in 3 different editions. 2 Limited Editions will each contain a DVD. Meanwhile the Regular Edition will include 2 bonus tracks, titled "GOOD LIFE" and "Bokutachi no Ashita". The DVD for the Limited A Edition will include the music video for "Namida no Ato ga Kieru Koro" and off-shots of it. The Limited B Edition will include a video of V6' consultations.
