Ninomiya talked about Aiba Masaki's baseball team
April 6, Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari appeared in an interview video by Nippon Television's Shuichi. In the interview, he talked about a baseball episode with fellow member Aiba Masaki and about Ichikawa Ebizo, his co-star in the drama "Yowakutemo Katemasu".
As announcer Tsujioka Gido greeted Ninomiya in the hallway, he directly asked whether Ninomiya is good in janken. Ninomiya replied, that he is indeed quite good in it, while the announcer admitted, that he himself is weak in janken. After the greetings announcer Tsujioka suddenly started a janked battle, which Ninomiya won easily.
The interview then took place in another room. The announcer of course asked about the drama and his expiriences with baseball. Ninomiya answered, that he did baseball in elementary school and as a Johnny's with his position usually being an outfield. When asked, whether he wasn't asked to be a pitcher, Ninomiya told him, that he actually plays in Aiba's team. Because basically Aiba is the owner of the team, he gets to decide the positioning of the players. Ninomiya also complained, that Aiba's team's game is at 6 O'clock in the morning. So 5:30 they get there, at 6 the game starts and at about 8 it ends. He commented: "So mostly until the second time in the batter box, we're still half asleep."
Ninomiya also tells a story about co-star Ichikawa's intensity in updating his blog. Because he keeps on taking pictures of the sky, Ninomiya thought that he actually liked the sky and decided to try to talk about it. That's when a staff mentioned Ichikawa's blog update. That scene gave Ninomiya quite a big impact.
After the interview, announcer Tsujioka kept on following Ninomiya, because he promised, that if Tsujioka can win the next janken game against him, he can make an appearance in the drama. Ninomiya adviced him: "Don't think about winning or loosing, think about appearing or not appearing." Though Tsujioka won this time, he couldn'd match his schedule to appear in the drama.
