During an interview, Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari revealed that he recieved some coaching from Hara Tatsunori in preperation for his role in the upcoming Saturday drama.
April 5th, Nippon Television's Zoom In! Saturday broadcasted their interview with Ninomiya Kazunari, who will be starring the drama "Yowakutemo Katemasu", which will start airing next week. In this drama Ninomiya will play a coach for a high school baseball club. So announcer Kamishige Satoshi asked him, whether there're knock scenes in the drama. Ninomiya replied, that there are knock scenes indeed.
The announcer than commented that knocks are surprisingly hard to do, to which Ninomiya replied that he is fine doing them, because a friend taught him how to do them. He was than asked, whether there is someone from the baseball world, he is good friend with. Ninomiya then revealed, that he is actually in good terms with Hara Tatsunori, who is currently a coach for Yomiuri Giants and who has led the Japanese national baseball team to victory in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
When Ninomiya visited the stadium, Hara asked him about his next role as a baseball coach. He also asked, whether there will be any knock scenes. When Ninomiya answered, that there will be some, Hara Tatsunori offered to teach him how to do them. Ninomiya was amazed to be able to experience such coaching.
